I had two in home newborn sessions in a row, and this one happened to be in San Francisco! While not the easiest place to get to in terms of traffic and parking (and interesting characters you might meet on the street while lugging a suitcase and handfuls of newborn props), I always love the change of scene of going into the city. Their home had such beautiful light, and baby girl was so sleepy and quite possibly one of the most beautiful baby girls I’ve seen! She started off the session wide awake and hungry, but never really unhappy! But she was soon fast asleep and stayed that way right until the end of the session. And the best part is, I get to follow her as she grows through her first year! I love getting to see these babies grow and change so much in their first year!
These were the original wood floors in their home. I like when I can use elements from clients’ homes in their newborn shoots!
